About

The Aquatic Ecology & Conservation Lab is a collective of UGA and federal scientists who conduct applied, collaborative research in freshwater ecology, conservation biology, sustainability, and related areas. We’re part of UGA’s Odum School of Ecology and are affiliated with the UGA River Basin Center. Our funding comes primarily from external grants and contracts from agencies such as the US Geological Survey, US Army Corps of Engineers, NASA, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Scroll through the research page for more details about the kinds of work we do.
